All card payments are processed securely via our payment gateway provider.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- Instant EFT: Processed immediately via PayFast at checkout.
- Manual EFT: Direct bank transfer to our business account. Banking details are provided only after an order has been placed to reduce fraud risk and ensure accurate payment references.
Orders paid via manual EFT will only be processed once funds have cleared in our account.

- Mobicred (subject to approval)

Currency and Pricing
Currency
All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR). We only accept payments in ZAR.
Pricing Transparency
- Prices are final (No VAT is charged as we are not VAT registered)
- Shipping fees (R150 flat rate) are shown at checkout before payment
- No hidden fees are added
- The checkout total is the final amount charged
VAT
Vorax Technologies (PTY) Ltd is currently not registered as a VAT vendor. Should our VAT status change, pricing and invoices will be updated accordingly.
Price Changes
Prices may change without notice; however, once an order is confirmed, the price paid will not change.
When Payment Is Processed
Payment Authorisation
- Your selected payment method is authorised
- Payment is captured once authorisation succeeds
- An order confirmation email is sent
- Orders are processed only after successful payment
Confirmation Timeframes
- Card Payments & Instant EFT: Usually confirmed within minutes
- Manual EFT: May take 24–48 business hours depending on your bank
Orders are not dispatched until payment has cleared.
Pre-Authorisation Holds
Some card payments may place a temporary hold on funds. These holds are controlled by your bank and may take several days to release if a transaction is not completed.
Failed or Declined Payments

What Happens
- You will be notified immediately
- Your order will not be processed
- You may retry payment using another method
- Stock availability is not guaranteed until payment succeeds
Payment Verification
To protect both parties, additional verification may be required for:
- High-value orders
- Billing and delivery address mismatches
- First-time customers above a certain value
- Orders flagged by fraud detection systems
Orders remain on hold until verification is completed. Verification is typically completed within 24 business hours.
Refunds and Chargebacks
Refunds
Refunds are processed in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
- Card payments are refunded to the original card
- EFT payments are refunded via bank transfer
- Mobicred refunds are processed to the Mobicred account
Refunds are usually processed within 7 business days.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved directly without involving your bank.

- Mobicred: Credit facility payments
We do not have access to your full card details at any time.
