About this product

Easily monitor and get alerts to any openings around your home with the Xiaomi Mi Door and Window Sensor 2. The Sensor 2 can connect to even more scenes with the 2-in-1 light and opening/closing sensor. Its magnetic induction sensor determines open or closed statuses. After connecting to a Bluetooth Gateway, you can easily view the device status from your smartphone anytime, anywhere.


A new light sensor detects lighting and connects to more scenes. When the light sensor detects that ambient lighting is dim, the sensor connects with a smart light and initiates the night-time entry light scene.


Instant alerts are sent whenever a door/window opens or closes unexpectedly, for greater peace of mind when a baby is on the move. The sensor attaches to anything that opens or closes, making it very versatile. You can also set alerts for unexpected openings, or doors that have been left open for a certain time.


Easily use the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app to access automated event history. It can also connect to other smart devices in your home via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. For example, whenever your pet gate is opened, a smart camera can automatically record the event, upload it to the cloud and send an alert to your smartphone.


The Mi Door and Window Sensor 2 connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth so you can view its status. It also connects to products with built-in Bluetooth gateway functionality so you can remotely view status, receive opening and closing alerts and link to other smart products.


The Xiaomi Mi Door and Window Sensor 2 features a compact and lightweight body, which can strongly adhere to anything that opens or closes in the home. This allows you to turn traditional installations into smart home devices with ease.

Shipping, warranty and common questions

Shipping

Delivery is free on orders of R2,500 or more. Below R2,500 a R150 delivery fee applies, shown at checkout before you pay.

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.

Orders are only processed once funds have cleared in the Vorax bank account.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification with your tracking details.

Warranty & refunds

Where a product's warranty is listed on its page, that is the warranty you get. Products without a listed warranty carry a minimum 6-month warranty from the date of purchase, and a longer manufacturer warranty might apply.

Shipping for approved replacements or repairs is covered by us.

Unwanted products (change of mind) must be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery, unused, in original packaging and suitable for resale.

All returned items are subject to inspection before a refund is approved.

How long does order processing take?

We process all orders within 1–2 business days once payment has cleared. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is on its way.

How long does delivery take?

Once dispatched, delivery takes 1–3 business days depending on your location. Including processing, total delivery time is 2–5 business days from the date you order.

Do you ship everywhere in South Africa?

Yes, we offer nationwide shipping. Certain high-risk or no-go areas may experience delays, and we will contact you if this applies to your address.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard cards, interest-free instalments with Stitch Pay Later (subject to approval), Instant EFT, Zapper, Mobicred and direct bank transfer (EFT). The options available for your order are shown at checkout. Orders are only processed once payment has cleared.

Pay by direct bank transfer and save 3%: choose Bank deposit at checkout. Checkout shows the full price; once your order is placed we apply the 3% and email your reduced total within 1 business day. Pay that amount, using your order number as the reference. If you have already paid the full amount, we refund the 3% to you. The saving does not apply to Instant EFT or other payment methods.

What if the item I want is out of stock?

Items marked out of stock cannot be purchased directly on the website. You are welcome to contact us and we may be able to arrange a manual backorder, subject to supplier availability.

Manual backorders are processed only after full payment via EFT or secure payment link, and lead times vary depending on supplier stock.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number by email so you can monitor delivery.
